Two years ago, a pivotal shift happened in my life. Reading the insights, blogs, and shared experiences of others who navigate Complex PTSD (CPTSD) finally opened my eyes. It gave form to things I had felt deeply in my nervous system my entire life, helping me understand that these patterns were not a personal failure, but something much broader.

If this blog helps even **one fellow human** recognize their own experience in these words...and gives them the vocabulary to take it up with their professional support team, just as I did, then it has fulfilled its purpose.

## A Note on Language and Access

While there is a growing body of information and community support available for English speakers, a noticeable gap remains. Finding accessible explanations, relatable symptoms, and supportive spaces in **German,** and many other languages, can feel remarkably difficult.

Because complex trauma and nervous system responses do not care what language we speak, I want to bridge that gap as best as I can.

> **For non-English speakers:** While this blog is primarily written in English, I warmly invite you to use a translation tool (such as Google Browser Translate) to read the posts in your native language.

To help make this accessible to as many people as possible, brief welcomes and core notes are provided below in several languages.

### Deutsch (German)

Willkommen.

Bienvenido/a.

### Italiano (Italian)

Benvenuto/a.

Bem-vindo/a.
